01

Arequipa - Colca Canon

your journey begins with a 7:30am pickup by your expert tour guide. From there, you’ll embark on a breathtaking 160km drive through the valley, taking in the awe-inspiring views of Misti, Chachani, and PichuPichu, three towering volcanoes that dominate the horizon.
But the real highlight of Day 1 comes at the National Reserve of Pampa Cañahuas, where you’ll witness wild Vicuñas in their natural habitat. This is a rare opportunity to capture unforgettable holiday photos of these majestic creatures. Afterward, you’ll visit Tocra, a place with rich lakes and grass that’s home to hundreds of Llamas and Alpacas, as well as typical Andean colors on display.
And that’s just the beginning. You’ll then ascend to Pata Pampa, located at a dizzying 4910m above sea level, where you’ll take in breathtaking views of Peru’s mountain range, including giant volcanoes such as Ampato, Sabancaya, and Mismi (the source of the Amazon River).
After arriving in the village of Chivay, the capital of the Colca Valley, you’ll have the opportunity to sample some of Peru’s finest cuisine before exploring the area at your leisure.
