01

Embark on a Scenic River Journey to Tambopata Ecolodge in the Heart of the Amazon

Embark on an unforgettable ecotourism adventure to Tambopata Ecolodge! Our expert staff will greet you upon arrival in Puerto Maldonado, the gateway to the Amazon rainforest. From there, you’ll embark on a thrilling 68-kilometer journey along the Tambopata River, where you’ll witness a breathtaking transformation from deforested areas to virgin rainforest.
As you travel along the river, keep an eye out for native Amazon fauna, including brown capuchin monkeys, agoutis, toucans, and more. Your experienced naturalist guide will be on hand to point out these incredible creatures and provide insightful commentary on the local flora and fauna. You’ll even enjoy a delicious box lunch aboard our boat, making for an unforgettable journey!
Upon arrival at our Ecolodge, you’ll have time to settle into your cozy eco-lodge accommodation before venturing out to explore the surrounding forest. Encounter Exotic Wildlife on a Guided Tour of Tambopata National Reserve

The adventure continues on day two, where you’ll embark on a fascinating 4- to 6-hour boat ride, delving even deeper into the heart of Tambopata National Reserve. Look out for Orinoco geese, capybaras, and even jaguars as you make your way to Colorado, the world’s largest known macaw clay lick. Here, you’ll camp on the beach and enjoy the sights and sounds of Amazonian wildlife.

Flights/bus services: Guests are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from the town of Puerto Maldonado.
Entrance fee to Tambopata National Reserve: Visitors are required to pay the entrance fee to the reserve directly.
Drinks at the Ecolodge bar: Any drinks ordered at the bar are not included in the package and will be charged separately.
